I am going to start out with a man named George Ernst, who was born in Germany in 1837. He came to the United States when he was 2 years old. He was well educated and graduated with honors from Kenyon College in Ohio in 1826. Room and board was only seventy six dollars a year for him and he worked his way through college. |
